The memoir "Us and Them" was very interesting but yet a little wierd. The family moved to North Carolina from New York State. The family lived on the country side of New York State. North Carolina was much different because they moved to a city there. They soon meet the Tomkey family. The Tomkey family was different than there family because Mr.Tomkey did not believe in TV which in turn allowed the family to talk during dinner about news and things they had learned that day. In those days families typically had TV's for that purpose and dinner was silent. The families weren't really friends just more like neighbors that you have met a few times. By the end of the memoir the two famalies figured out that they didn't like each other.
The memoir "Mick Jagger Wants Me" the Rolling Stones come into New York and these two girls are in love with Mick Jagger. The girls go to a recording studio called the Electric Lady, which is where the stones will be recording there new album. The girls get there at 10 am and can't see inside, so they dont know if the stones are there or not. They ask people who look like they might know but they have no luck. Eventually Keith Richards comes out and he is the lead guitarist. The girls got to thinking if Mick saw them this way and acting inmature it wouldn't look good so decided to past the opportunity and wait for another time.
